PRD-101 — New Getting Started experience (Linear). The redesigned dashboard Getting Started section, built as Concept A — next-step spotlight from DESIGN.md: one hero action at a time with a progress ring, six data-grounded steps, collapse-not-dismiss, auto-retire on completion. It renders inside a faithful copy of the real Financial Overview page (the "My Financial Overview" title, two-column main + sidebar layout, real sidebar/top-bar chrome).

Play it end to end. The prototype is a continuous journey, not isolated screens. Enter on step-bank (brand-new user), then click each step's hero CTA: the step is marked complete and the spotlight advances in place — Step 1 → Step 6 → the one-time completion moment. Connecting the bank runs the real importing (analysing) state first, then the sort step appears; every other step advances straight away. The whole page reacts as you go (accounts appear, Action Needed changes, cashflow/goals/spend fill in). The Journey panel (bottom-right, dev-only) restarts the journey or jumps straight to any state; it does not ship.
The six steps and their real completion signals: connect bank (bank connection exists) · sort transactions (CONDITIONAL — only while uncategorised transactions exist) · review subscriptions (fast-track reviewed) · set your budget (budget_step_completed) · create a goal (goal exists) · meet SortMe AI (first message sent).
Jump states (also deep-linkable with ?screen=): step-bank (default entry), day3 (bank done, hero = sort transactions), analysing (5 steps, importing + meanwhile-AI), nearly (4/6, hero = create goal), collapsed (slim progress row), complete (completion moment, then permanent retire).
Collapse, not dismiss: the chevron minimises to a slim row (whole row re-expands). No permanent dismiss exists anywhere. State persists across sessions/devices.
Auto-retire: the completion moment renders once, then the card never renders again.
Faked here / real on build: all data is fixture data; step completion is faked in-page (the bank step shows the real importing state, then the sort step appears; every other step advances the spotlight at once) instead of deep-linking into the real flow; the collapse persistence, live counts, real step signals, PostHog events and the SortMe AI connection are backend work per SCOPE.md.
Surroundings are the real page (financial-overview layout): Welcome card (coexists, first 7 days), Connected Accounts, Action Needed (only when it has items), Cashflow, My Goals, Spend overview, One Offs — each region reacts to the journey progress.
